Sec. 5-97. – Limitation on the number of dogs and cats.

(b) No person shall engage in the commercial business of breeding, buying, selling, trading, training, or boarding dogs or cats without having obtained approval and special permit from the city. The fee for such special permit, or any renewal thereof, shall be one hundred dollars ($100.00).

(c) Any person engaging in the commercial business of breeding, buying, selling, trading, training, or boarding dogs or cats must adhere to the rules and regulations of the Georgia Animal Protection Act (O.C.G.A. Sections 4-11-1 et seq.), and the Department of Agriculture Registration, License, and Permit Act (O.C.G.A. Sections 2-5-1 et seq.
