Sec. 4-35. – Cost of license.

Each owner of any dog or cat in the city shall present a certificate of rabies vaccination to the animal control officer, veterinarian, or building department. Upon payment of a license fee for each animal, the animal control officer, veterinarian, or building department shall issue a serially numbered city tag bearing the year of issuance to be attached to the collar or harness of the animal. A fee shall be set by ordinance adopted by the city.
