Sec. 7-6-250. – License fee.

(a) The following types of fees for the care, impoundment and adoption of animals are hereby established and authorized; the City Council shall set the fee amounts from time to time by resolution of the City Council.

(b) License fees:

(1) Un-neutered animal, annual;

(2) Neutered animal, annual.

(c) Veterinary fees:

(4) Spay/Neuter.

Sec. 7-6-370. – Adoption.

An adoption fee may be assessed or waived at the time of adoption. No animal shall be released for adoption as a pet without being neutered or without a written agreement from the adopter guaranteeing that the animal will be neutered. Vaccination fees, licensing fees and veterinary costs may be assessed above and beyond the adoption fee.
