6.16.030 – Fees—Penalty for nonpayment.

A. An annual license fee in the amount established by resolution of the city council shall be paid by each owner of a dog, male or female, over the age of four months, located within the city, except as otherwise provided by this chapter.

B. Upon proper presentation of a certificate from a licensed veterinarian that a dog has been spayed or neutered, the license fee for the spayed or neutered dog shall be one-half of the fee for a dog that has not been spayed or neutered.
