For the opening of a new Raising Cane’s in Florida, a woman was slung upside down and had her neck hacked at by a ‘slaughterhouse worker’ with a prop knife. As bloody as the display was, it is nothing compared to what happened to the chickens whose bodies were being sold right behind them.

Shoppers in New Orleans were met with a shocking sight outside Urban Outfitters, as a PETA supporter mimicking the look of a bloodied goat had the hair aggressively torn from their body while the screams of real goats played.

Following the death of Katina—an orca who was snatched from her family’s pod at the age of two and was the last wild-captured orca to survive at SeaWorld Orlando—PETA supporters descended on the abusement park to call on the Alamo Bowl to cut ties with SeaWorld, where dolphins and whales are denied everything that’s natural to them.

To kick off the new year, PETA’s massive “aliens” descended on New Jersey with a pointed message for humans: “Stop Eating Your Fellow Earthlings”—and help spare billions of animals from violent deaths by going vegan in 2026.

PETA’s new billboard is showing the crowds of Times Square how monkeys live inside federally funded laboratories and calling for the National Institutes of Health (NIH) to shut down the seven national primate research centers.

PETA supporters gathered beside a coffin emblazoned with a tombstone reading “FUR IS DEAD.” Inside were fur coats donated by people who would rather be caught dead than wear them again. PETA’s fur donation program runs year-round, and in recent years we’ve donated thousands of fur coats to refugees and displaced people worldwide, including in Jordan and Ukraine.

A troop of PETA supporters with giant monkey masks descended upon the University of Washington’s New Student Convocation, after traveling over on Seattle’s Light Rail, to tell everyone in attendance about the school’s deadly underground primate center and call for its immediate closure.

PETA’s famous “I Scream” truck is back on the road dishing out fabulous, delicious, dairy-free ice cream across the country! The mobile parlor is serving free vegan treats as part of PETA’s nationwide campaign urging ice cream lovers everywhere to leave mother cows and their babies alone (and to let lactose-intolerant kids join in the fun).

Near the end of December, PETA’s Community Animal Project fieldworkers navigated plummeting temperatures to help dogs left outside in the bitter cold. Chomper had no way to escape the icy wind and no warm place to curl up. We gave him an insulated shelter and neutered him at no charge.
