All-American Vegan Sliders

Celebrate Labor Day and bid summer adieu with these delicious—and adorable—mini-burgers! Even your most carnivorous friends won’t be able to pass up these teeny, tiny, grilled vegan burgers topped with fresh veggies and served on rolls.

All-American Vegan Sliders
1 pkg. Gardein Beefless Burgers, defrosted
2 Tbsp. cooking oil
8 rolls, sliced
2 small tomatoes, sliced
1 cup shredded carrots
1 cup shredded lettuce
1 tsp. freshly ground pepper
Vegan mayonnaise

  • Cut beefless burgers in half and mold into smaller patties.
  • Lightly coat each side of the burger patties with oil and grill.
  • Place the burgers on the rolls and add vegetables and condiments, as desired.

Makes 4 servings

    @ Stephanie and Maureen – Most of Morningstar is not vegan but they do have three things that are – they do make a “vegan griller” veggie burger, and a grilled “chicken” patty and BBQ “ribs”… I wish all of their stuff was vegan but those three are pretty good 🙂

    @maureen johnson be careful if you are following a vegan diet because morningstar products contain eggs and dairy, a mistake i almost made once! 🙂

    I love veggie burgers. Morningstar makes great ones. But if you like chicken patties, the boca or morningstar patties taste much better than the real ones! Honest to god! That’s the first change I made in trying to become vegetarian. There are so many more options out there now. I’m lucky to have a local store down the street that has asian or eastern med. Frozen food. Its vegan. Its like a regular honey farms. But they have a great selection a different foods that I like. Its hard because I don’t like a lot of spiciness, but its trial and error. Everyone can find something that they would like. Thayve even got there own version of vegan hotpockets.
