As major U.S. airports seek donations of essentials for Transportation Security Administration (TSA) workers missing paychecks during the partial government shutdown, PETA supporters delivered suitcases packed with delicious and non-perishable vegan food and other supplies to TSA agents in airports across the U.S.

After the death of Chanchal, an elephant used for rides and painted pink for a commercial shoot, PETA India supporters made a statement with pink masks and chains, urging everyone to choose only animal-free transportation.

Anyone passing by a Raising Cane’s grand opening may be in for a shock. Recently in Memphis, PETA supporters gathered outside the chicken chain to show that chickens feel love, joy, pain, and fear, and don’t want to be killed.

A pair of PETA supporters dressed as wounded goats took over a Paul Smith store’s window display while bearing signs. The action comes after Paul Smith was implicated in a damning undercover investigation into mohair operations in South Africa and Lesotho, which documented workers violently striking goats with brooms and poles, dragging struggling goats by their horns and legs, and pinning goats to the ground as the panicked animals cried out.

Runners in SeaWorld’s Seven Seas Food Festival 5K were greeted with a haunting message as PETA supporters set up giant illuminated signs alerting them to the more than 40 orcas and more than 500 other dolphins and whales who have died so far at SeaWorld parks.

A costumed “crying lobster”—joined by PETA supporters, along with members of Project Animal Freedom—descended on Red Lobster with banners and signs. Their plea points out that lobsters feel pain and terror just as humans do and urges everyone to leave them in peace by going vegan.
