2 Tbsp. oil
1 Tbsp. mustard seeds
4-5 green chilies, split
1 tsp. urad dal
1 sprig curry leaves
1 1/2 cup suji (thick rava)
2 Tbsp. sugar
1 Tbsp. salt
2 Tbsp. grated coconut

• Heat the oil in a frying pan and add the mustard seeds. When the seeds start sputtering, add the split green chilies, urad dal, and curry leaves.
• To this, add the suji and stir for 2-3 minutes. Add 2 cups hot water, the sugar and salt and keep stirring. Keep covered and cook on a low flame until all the water evaporates. (Open once or twice and stir to prevent it from sticking.)
• Garnish with coconut.
