Robo Chicken ‘Hennifer Coolidge’ Served Up Antics—and Just Meat Vegan Chicken—at the Grammy® Gift Lounge
Grammy® weekend got a little more cluckin’ fabulous thanks to Hennifer Coolidge, PETA’s walking, talking robo-chicken (named for the vegan, award-winning actress Jennifer Coolidge and voiced to sound just like her!). Strutting through the Grammy® Gift Lounge—where we dished out samples of the innovative new Just Meat Chicken crafted for music’s biggest stars by Crossroads Kitchen—Hennifer greeted VIPs, posed for photos, and delivered her message with signature flair: “Wings are for flying, not frying.” Between the mouthwatering smell of juicy, tender vegan Just Chicken samples and Hennifer’s show-stealing antics, let’s just say … it made everyone want vegan chicken real bad.
Music industry icons, such as Reba McEntire and Sheryl Lee Ralph, stopped by to try Just Meat’s new plant chicken, which delivers big, craveable flavor without harming a single feather on anyone’s head. Guests also took home PETA swag, including an “Eat No Chicken” T-shirt and a “Grillin’ Without Killin’ Go Vegan” apron, as well as a one-month supply of Just Meat. By bringing star power, humor, and seriously good food to one of music’s biggest weekends, PETA encouraged celebrities to use their platforms this award season and beyond to spare chickens and help make the world a kinder place for all animals.
Bend, Snap, and Go Vegan!
Just Meat Chicken—which outperformed chicken flesh in a head-to-head consumer taste test—is the latest in-demand product from the award-winning food company Eat Just. Since launching in 2019, the plant-powered pioneer’s Just Egg line has sold the equivalent of 500 million chicken eggs.
Eat Just is one of the many trailblazing vegan brands bringing compassionate, crave-worthy foods to consumers. Every vegan chicken product sold spares sensitive hens, who naturally live rich social lives, form friendships, and raise their families. Mother hens even teach their chicks calls before they hatch.
That’s why you need to go vegan—today. Every individual who goes vegan saves nearly 200 animals every year, slashes their carbon footprint, and supports their own health. Already made the compassionate switch? Amazing! Now challenge someone else to go vegan for three weeks:
