The results are in for PETA’s first-ever ranking of the top 10 vegan-friendly football stadiums—and the Minneapolis Vikings’ U.S. Bank Stadium has won a place in the lineup, taking the number three spot for its delicious, one-of-a-kind animal-free offerings.

Starting this season is the Vegan Chickpea “Tuna” Salad from Be Graceful Café served on a choice of pita rounds, lettuce, or bread. Vikings fans also have the option of Sweet Potato and Black Bean Tacos, a BBQ Pulled Jackfruit Sandwich with dairy-free cream cheese and hot sauce, a veggie-packed Greek Salad Wrap, and, of course, a classic veggie burger with all the fixings.

“U.S. Bank Stadium is sending kind fans scrambling for its innovative vegan game-day fare,” says PETA Executive Vice President Tracy Reiman. “All the stadiums on PETA’s list are winning by a blowout margin when it comes to meeting the huge demand for animal-friendly food.”

PETA—whose motto reads, in part, that “animals are not ours to eat”—notes that opting for vegan fuel is a surefire way for football fans to ensure that they’re around to enjoy many more seasons, as vegans have a lower risk of suffering from heart disease, strokes, diabetes, obesity, and cancer than meat-eaters do. In addition, each person who goes vegan saves the lives of nearly 200 animals every year—and the United Nations has warned that a global switch to vegan eating is vital if we are to combat the worst effects of climate change.

Topping PETA’s list is the Atlanta Falcons’ Mercedes-Benz Stadium, followed by the San Francisco 49ers’ Levi’s Stadium, the Philadelphia Eagles’ Lincoln Financial Field, the Kansas City Chiefs’ Arrowhead Stadium, the Seattle Seahawks’ CenturyLink Field, the New England Patriots’ Gillette Stadium, the Denver Broncos’ Empower Field at Mile High, the Los Angeles Rams’ Memorial Coliseum, and the Baltimore Ravens’ M&T Bank Stadium.

PETA opposes speciesism, which is a human-supremacist worldview. For more information, please visit PETA.org or click here.
