“Free Me, Don’t Breed Me!” That’s the message a crying cetacean mascot and a pod of dolphin-masked PETA supporters will deliver to SeaWorld on Saturday as part of the group’s annual “Boycott SeaWorld” Day efforts, which target the marine park’s forcible artificial insemination of dolphins and whales.

When:    Saturday, July 24, 10 a.m.

Where:    7007 Sea World Dr., Orlando

“Families would run from SeaWorld if they knew it treated gentle, intelligent mothers as breeding machines,” says PETA Executive Vice President Tracy Reiman. “PETA calls on SeaWorld to stop creating more generations of animals to exploit by denying them a life in the ocean, where they could swim freely and choose their own mates.”

PETA—whose motto reads, in part, that “animals are not ours to use for entertainment”—opposes speciesism, a human-supremacist worldview. For more information, please visit PETA.org or follow the group on Twitter, Facebook, or Instagram.
