Cambridge, Mass. – Please see the following statement from PETA regarding Harvard University experimenters who tormented mice for the sake of human vanity:

Harvard University’s just-published study concerning what turns mice hair gray is depraved—and public tax money helped pay for it. Mice were subjected to radiation and bone marrow transplants, cut into, and injected with a substance that caused intense burning—without even the excuse that the experiments were useful to human health. The experimenters should be permanently prohibited from using animals, and Harvard should be denied public research funds for animal studies.

PETA—whose motto reads, in part, that “animals are not ours to experiment on”—opposes speciesism, a human-supremacist worldview. For more information, please visit PETA.org.
