The world has lost a beautiful and compassionate soul today. Not only was Christina Grimmie a talented singer, she was also a true hero for animals. The proud guardian of an adorable rescued pup, she partnered with peta2 to encourage people always to adopt animals from shelters instead of buying them from breeders or pet stores. PETA will honor Christina with a leaf on our Tree of Life in recognition of her work to help all living beings. Although her life was tragically cut short, she leaves behind a legacy of hope and inspiration that will help change the world for the better.
