PETA Remembers ‘Car Talk’ Host Tom Magliozzi

Like millions of other listeners, we at PETA will always remember Tom Magliozzi for the lighthearted and on-point advice that he and his brother and co-host, Ray, gave callers—and not just when it came to their cars. “Click and Clack” were the first and only recipients of PETA’s Compassionate Mechanic Award, which thanked them for always speaking up for animals. From offering tips on traveling safely with dogs and cats to memorably pointing out that cows would prefer not to have their skin turned into leather upholstery, Tom and Ray made sure that animals’ needs stayed in the spotlight.
