PETA Remembers Bonnie Tyler, Hero to Animals

Below, please find a statement from PETA U.K. Vice President Elisa Allen regarding the death of legendary Welsh singer, three-time Grammy nominee, and devoted animal advocate Bonnie Tyler:

Not content with holding out for a hero when it came to animals, Bonnie Tyler became one herself. From fighting to ensure dogs, cats, and other animals tormented in UK laboratories are found loving homes instead of being killed when experiments end, to her patronage of Portugal’s Animal Charity Foundation, which provides aid for sick, injured, and hungry animals suffering on the streets, she showed that her compassion was every bit as powerful as her voice. PETA will forever remember her kind heart and tireless work to ensure that animals in need are never left in the dark.
