New York – He once raffled off his own chest hair for charity—and now, filmmaker and Catfish host Nev Schulman is appearing in the buff for a new ad for peta2, PETA’s youth division, that proclaims, “Wear Your Own Fur!”

“Whether you’re a furry fox or a hairy guy like me, we all look best in the fur that we’re born with,” he says. “peta2 and I encourage everyone to keep cruelty out of their wardrobe and let animals live in peace.”

peta2—whose motto reads, in part, that “animals are not ours to wear”—notes that every year, millions of raccoons, foxes, minks, rabbits, and even dogs and cats are caged, bludgeoned, electrocuted, and skinned alive for fur coats, collars, and cuffs.

Schulman, who returns for the sixth season of Catfish: The TV Show on March 1, joins a long list of celebrities—including Jhené Aiko, Fifth Harmony, P!nk, Kesha, Sia, and many more—who’ve teamed up with peta2 to promote kindness to animals.
