For Immediate Release:
December 6, 2013

The eagles will pay the ultimate price—with their lives—in this latest federal concession to industry and disregard for the wishes of more than 100 conservation and animal-protection groups, including PETA. Some bird species have learned to avoid the turbines, but eagles have not, and perhaps selling them down the river for the sake of corporate profit can be seen as a symbol of things that are not right with our country’s policies on a larger scale.
