Detroit – PETA has just named its starting lineup of vegan-friendly NFL stadiums, and Ford Field has scored a spot in the top five with its wide and wonderful variety of animal-friendly options, including vegan twists on traditional game day classics.

Guests at the home of the Lions can find plant-based versions of tasty tailgater treats, including jackfruit sandwiches, vegan hibachi bowls, and veggie burgers and wraps.

“From juicy plant-based burgers to mouthwatering hibachi bowls, Ford Field’s vegan offerings are so delicious that Lions fans will want to go for two every time,” says PETA President Ingrid Newkirk. “All the stadiums on PETA’s list are proving that cruelty-free food is a winning game plan.”

Rounding out PETA’s top five are the Las Vegas Raiders’ Allegiant Stadium, the Seattle Seahawks’ Lumen Field, the Atlanta Falcons’ Mercedes-Benz Stadium, and the Indianapolis Colts’ Lucas Oil Stadium.

PETA—whose motto reads, in part, that “animals are not ours to eat”—opposes speciesism, a human-supremacist worldview, and offers a free vegan starter kit on its website. For more information, please visit PETA.org, listen to The PETA Podcast, or follow the group on TwitterFacebook, or Instagram.
