Launch of Animatronic Dolphin Will Demonstrate the Future of Animal-Free Marine Parks

This Thursday, PETA invites you to meet the ultra-realistic animatronic dolphin designed to replace the animals held captive at marine parks as she swims with members of the public and the media at an exclusive preview.

When:    Thursday, May 27, 11:30 a.m.–1 p.m.

Where:    LA84 Foundation/John C. Argue Swim Stadium (3980 Bill Robertson Ln.)

Created by Edge Innovations—the same company behind the mechanical orca used in Free Willy—Delle looks, feels, and behaves like a real dolphin and allows humans to get to know these highly intelligent mammals without confining them to barren concrete tanks, where they can only swim in small circles and are used as breeding machines.

Pack your bathing suit for this exclusive one-day event in which you can meet the inventors and experience the future of animal-friendly marine parks firsthand.
