Holding signs declaring, “Luis Fonsi is Heartless to Perform at SeaWorld,” a pod of PETA supporters and members of the Animal Rights Foundation of Florida will rally against Luis Fonsi’s concert at SeaWorld on Sunday, putting the singer on blast for supporting the abusement park despite being informed that dolphins and whales at the facility are denied everything that’s natural to them, and dolphins are sexually abused and sometimes drugged so they can’t fight back in its breeding program.
“SeaWorld confines highly intelligent dolphins and whales to cramped tanks with nothing to do but swim in circles and lash out at each other in frustration,” says PETA Executive Vice President Tracy Reiman. “PETA is calling on Luis Fonsi to face the music and cut ties with this cruel marine prison until it releases these long-suffering animals to seaside sanctuaries.”
