The hottest fashion trend of 2019 is one that anyone can pull off: stylish, sporty sneakers. And thanks to brands like Nike, Puma, Vans, and others that are making plenty of vegan options, choosing animal-free kicks over ones made of skins (leather or suede) is easier than ever.

We teamed up with vegan artist and influencer Phil America to make a list of the most exciting recent and upcoming vegan sneaker releases—take a look:

Acronym x Air VaporMax Moc 2 ‘Light Bone’

These collaboration runners might be a tad extra, but there’s nothing wrong with that.

Air Max 270

Inspired by two icons of big Air (the Air Max 180 and Air Max 93), these trainers’ super-high, cushy heel won’t disappoint.

Air Max 97 OG QS ‘Silver Bullet’

Metallic silver, Varsity Red, white, and black combine to make one heck of a chic sneaker. (Note: Not all colors are vegan! If you pick up a pair of Nike Air Max 97 sneakers, just make extra-sure that the ones you choose aren’t made of leather.)

Air VaporMax 2019

With flexible cushioning and a stylish design, these kicks can go from the gym to the streets flawlessly.

Kyrie 5

Want to be as sporty as vegan pro basketball player Kyrie Irving? Pick up a pair of animal-free Nike Kyrie 5 kicks.

Puma x Outlaw Moscow Avid Shield

These vegan sneakers have it all: buckles, zippers, ankle support, and a cushiony base. Get a pair before they’re gone.

Authentic Lo Pro

You can’t go wrong with a classic, right? The best part about these vegan Vans is that they’ll go with just about any outfit.

Boccaccio White

Chunky white sneakers are a must-have for every closet, and these Rombaut Boccaccio sneaks are advertised as “100% vegan”!

Boccaccio Sneaker With Chain

The detachable rubber harness on these sneakers will take your shoe game from drab to fab.

Speed Trainers

These vegan sneakers are sleek, sporty, comfy … and perhaps a bit pricy. Grab a pair if you (and your wallet) dare.

Black Salomon Edition Bamba 2 High-Top Sneakers

Vegan leather, zippers, mesh, high-top ankles … these collaboration sneakers have it all.

Take advantage of the athleisure wear trend—pick up a pair of these comfy, chic vegan sneakers while you still can.

Note: Some of these companies cannot guarantee that the glue used in their shoes is vegan. We’ve opted to include them because their products are widely available. The more popular these otherwise animal-friendly shoes are, the more vegan options will be made available in the future.
