'PETA-Approved Vegan' Statement of Assurance for Suppliers/Manufacturers

  • The undersigned company understands that
  • (the "Buyer")
  • has applied to use or is already licensed to use PETA's "PETA-Approved Vegan" certification marks and designs (the "Certification Mark") in connection with the Buyer's following vegan goods and products—
  • (the "Products")
  • —and that the Buyer is obligated to assure PETA that the Certification Mark will be used only in connection with goods and products that are vegan. The undersigned company attests, represents, and warrants that the Products and/or components of the Products it supplies to or manufactures for the Buyer are vegan and agrees to contact PETA if there is any question as to whether a Product or component of a Product is vegan prior to executing this statement of assurance.

    The undersigned hereby confirms that he or she is an authorized agent of the company with full authority to execute and ensure compliance with this statement of assurance.

  • Definitions

    a. Company: As used in this statement of assurance, "company" means the corporation, partnership, or other legal organization that has separate existence and can function legally, including, without limitation, its subsidiaries, divisions, agents, and employees.

    b. Vegan: As used in this statement of assurance, "vegan" means no animal-derived products, including but not limited to fur, leather, silk, down, or wool.
