I’ll admit it—I have a soft spot for convenience store snacks, and 7-Eleven is my happy place. It’s practically a vegan food goldmine, and over the years, I’ve become that person who makes a pit stop whether I’m road-tripping, running errands, or just craving a sweet fix at midnight. Here are some of my favorite vegan products at 7-Eleven (just note: selections can vary depending on the location, so the options at your local 7-Eleven might be a little different).
Vegan Drinks at 7-Eleven
My typical drink is a zero-sugar soda (most sodas and juices are vegan!), but 7-Eleven often surprises me with a few other vegan drink options if it’s morning or I’m simply in the mood for something different.
- 7-Select Organic Cold Pressed Juice
- Soy, Almond, and other vegan milk
- Starbucks Iced Coffee
The iconic Slurpees are also vegan!
Vegan Candy and Cookies at 7-Eleven
I have a major soft spot for Lenny & Larry’s cookies. They feel like a treat but they’re also packed with protein and fiber which makes them more like an energy bar.
Even if I walk into 7-Eleven for “just one thing,” the candy aisle always tempts me. 7-Eleven offers a ton of candy and I’m always spotting new additions so I can’t list them all but some of my favorites include Airheads, Now & Later, and Red Vines.
Some dark chocolate candies are vegan but some contain dairy so check the ingredients for things like milk and whey.
A few other common animal-derived ingredients to look for in candy are gelatin (produced with animal skin, bones, and tissues), carmine color (red pigment from crushed insects), and coonfectioner’s glaze.
Vegan Snacks at 7-Eleven
When I’m craving something salty instead of sweet (which is more often than I’d like to admit), crunchy, savory snacks are totally my go-to, and 7-Eleven has a surprisingly solid lineup of vegan options. Whether it’s a bag of spicy chips or a handful of crackers, these picks always hit the spot when I need a break from the sweet stuff.
- 7 Select Kettle Chips (Original, BBQ, Salt & Vinegar, Spicy Jalapeño)
- 7 Select Potato Chips (Original, BBQ, Prime Rib, and Hot Italian Sausage)
- 7-Select Loco Rollers (Chili Lime and Habanero Lime)
- Corn Nuts (Ranch, BBQ, Original, and Chile Picante)
- Cracker Jack
- Graze Veggie Protein Power Pack
- Harvest Snaps Snapea Crisps
- Hippeas Organic Chickpea Puffs (Vegan White Cheddar)
- Lay’s Potato Chips (Classic, BBQ, and Sea Salt Poppables)
- Terra Vegetable Chips (Sweet Potato with Sea Salt)
7-Eleven also has tons of nuts and seeds to snack on. Most are “accidentally vegan”—just check the label and watch out for honey and dairy.
Vegan “Meals” at 7-Eleven
I like That’s it. Fruit Bars when I need some quick energy but I’ve also absolutely eaten them as a sweet snack. They literally only contain fruit—that’s it—so I think they’re a healthier sweet treat than candy or other desserts.
When I need more than just snacks, 7-Eleven makes it easy to throw together something more substantial to hold me over until my next meal. Sometimes, I’ll grab an Amy’s Kitchen Dairy-Free microwaveable meal from the frozen section (most 7-Eleven’s have microwaves you can use!).
Other days, I’ll just piece something together with the fresh fruit cups, a banana or apple, and hummus with pretzels from the grab and go section.
And if I want something sweet and refreshing to finish it off? The frozen fruit bars at 7-Eleven are vegan and do the trick.
