Cream Liqueurs Go Vegan: Ten Award-Winners

Published by PETA Staff.

Craving something creamy and cozy while cutting cruelty to animals? PETA is raising a glass to 10 vegan cream liqueurs from around the globe that prove indulgence is always dairy-free. These brands are serving up smooth, sippable compassion, and each one is getting a Vegan Crème de la Crème Liqueur Award (plus a framed certificate!).

Did your fave make the list? Check it out!

Baileys Non-Dairy Liqueur (Diageo)

Baileys is one of the most well-known brands in the cream liqueur category, so their oat- and almond-based creations are milestones on the path towards a vegan future for the sector. In 2017, Baileys launched Almande, made with sweet almond oil and real vanilla. In 2025, it leveled up with two oat milk-based liqueurs: Cookies & Creamy, with vanilla and chocolate richness, and Coffee Toffee, which combines roasted coffee with sweet buttery notes—both indulgent and dairy-free. Try this shamrock shake recipe at your next soiree and you’ll have everyone asking for more. Cheers!

Made with sustainably sourced oats, flavors include Coconut, Bourbon Cream, and Espresso. The company boasts that its products are made with the planet in mind. Almondaire (Bar Napkin Spirits)

Based in Wisconsin, Almondaire’s award-winning almond-based crème liqueur is both vegan and gluten-free. A combination of chocolate, vanilla, and almond make this creamy blend the perfect base for your next mixed drink. For a quick, sweet treat, try this two-ingredient recipe. Delish!

Oatnog (Black Lines)

Available seasonally, Black Lines’ Oatnog is a decadent and creamy concoction of winter spices, oat milk, and rum. Your grandma’s eggnog recipe may have included eggs and cream, but now we’ve figured out that oats steal the show without being cruel to cows and chickens. We’ll drink to that!

Cremaura Tequila Cream Liqueur (Platinum Reserved Limited)

Lustre (Global Brands)

This British vegan cream liqueur is available in three flavors: Pineapple Cream (rum), Caffe Latte Cream (vodka), and Strawberry Cream (tequila). If you mix the pineapple cream liqueur with pineapple-flavored rum, you’ll feel like you’re in plant-based paradise. Down the hatch!

Arctic Blue Oat (Arctic Blue Beverages)

The company says this is the world’s first dairy-free gin-based oat liqueur! Made in Finland with wild Arctic bilberries, this beauty tastes like a Nordic dream. Enjoy it with carrot juice and hazelnut syrup as they suggest on their website, and you’ll have vegan carrot cake in a glass. Kippis!

Sip With Compassion

By providing plant-based cream beverages, these companies are sparing cows exploited for their milk. Cows have complex relationships—they have best friends and hold grudges. Mother cows form strong bonds with their calves, and they become upset when their babies are kidnapped from them by dairy workers. They have even been known to hide their babies from workers.
