We don’t know what the much-anticipated Season 5 of Stranger Things is going to bring when it airs in November (can Eleven hold it together? Will Max wake up? What’s the deal with NINA??), but we have a bitchin’ addition here in the Rightside Up … on-the-go spicy vegan cheese!
Vegan Babybel Number Three
This month, Babybel launched a Hellfire version of their cute little wax-wrapped single-serve cheeses that is loaded with both jalapeño and cayenne. They already have two vegan cheeses (original and white cheddar), and the Hellfire tie-in cranks it up a notch or ten with this new “fiery-hot” vegan cheese flavor. Why “Hellfire?” The Hellfire Club is a Dungeons & Dragons group in the Stranger Things universe—note the 20-sided die on the Babybel wrapper.
Stranger Things cast members Matthew Modine, Sadie Sink, and Millie Bobby Brown are all outspoken animal advocates: Modine has been vegan for more than a decade and as a trained chef, has a heartfelt love for vegan chocolate cake; Sink has been vegan since working with Woody Harrelson; and Brown has personally rescued more than 60 animals in need.

No word yet on whether we’ll see Papa, Eleven, and Max kicking back with some spicy baby vegan cheese wheels, but we’ll keep our eyes peeled.
Friends Don’t Lie … or Kill!
Dairy cheese is made with milk stolen from mother cows, goats, and other animals. Cows are smart, social animals who can communicate with each other through subtle facial expressions, a lot like humans. They make their milk for their babies, but when they are imprisoned on farms, workers kidnap their babies shortly after birth. Male babies enter the hell-world of veal production while their mothers are forced to become milk machines.
Vegan cheeses like these Hellfire Club Babybels are made from plants like coconuts, almonds, and cashews. Not only are they animal-friendly, but they are exponentially more sustainable than dairy from cows.
If you want to snack along with the action when Season 5 premieres, Babybel Hellfire vegan cheese is on shelves now at select Kroger, Fred Meyer, Fry’s, and Ralph’s locations across the U.S., and of course, at Starcourt Mall.
So, if you’re not vegan yet, why are you keeping this curiosity door locked?
