Wayne Brady Brings ‘Dogs = Family’ Message to New York City
As Wayne Brady lights up the stage in New York City Center’s Encores! production of La Cage aux Folles, he’s also lighting up Manhattan—literally—with a new PETA campaign reminding everyone that dogs are family.

Brady’s message is running across taxi tops throughout the theater district, pairing perfectly with a new PETA video where he introduces two members of his pack, Rumi and McQueen—both adopted senior dogs. In the clip, Brady leans into his voice‑acting chops, giving playful “translations” of what his pups might be saying, from how awful it would be to “hold it” for eight hours to their thoughts on squirrels.
