Although we look different, all animals are the same in the ways that matter. From the smallest insects to awe-inspiring orcas to human beings, each of us wants freedom and the opportunity to make our own choices and thrive. Unlike some other animals, humans don’t have feathers, fur, or scales—but we can all feel pain and suffer.
