As you know, the community association in Severna Park, Maryland, was once again planning to hold its annual Fourth of July “goldfish swim,” during which hundreds of goldfish are dumped into a swimming pool and children are encouraged to jump in and attempt to catch them. Thank you to everyone who spoke out and to the community association for its compassionate decision to cancel this activity!
