UPDATE: Birds Freed From Netting at L.A. Post Office Facility!

Thanks to your calls and e-mails, the birds who were trapped and sure to die behind bird-deterrent netting at the U.S. Postal Service (USPS) vehicle maintenance center in southeast Los Angeles have been freed! As you know, these birds had gotten into the netting through a hole and were unable to find their way out. Some had already perished, and the survivors were in great peril. The USPS heard your voices and expedited the birds’ release and the removal of the net!

Thank you, USPS, and thank you to all who spoke up for these birds!
