McDonald’s Is Leaving Compassion Off the Menu

McDonald’s is keeping cruelty on the menu and refusing to offer a delicious vegan burger that would make cows happy. Every day, countless animals who don’t want to die are killed for meals at McDonald’s.

Consumers are increasingly choosing plant-based foods, and major restaurant chains have responded. Burger King has offered a vegan burger option since 2019, and Chili’s, Red Robin, The Habit Burger and Grill, Shake Shack, Yard House, and White Castle all offer vegan patties. Yet McDonald’s continues to lag behind, leaving customers who care about animals without a satisfying vegan burger option.

A vegan burger at McDonald’s would give millions of people the option to enjoy a truly “happy” meal without supporting the slaughter of animals.
