Tiny Puppy Likely Beaten to Death in Trinidad–Speak Up!
PETA has received a horrifying complaint regarding an individual who reportedly resides behind Talparo RC School in Trinidad. A video that is too graphic and disturbing for us to share, included with the complaint, depicts a tiny puppy being chased around a cluttered yard by a maniacal man, and then cruelly beaten repeatedly and with full force while she screams and screeches in obvious agony, before her broken body is apparently hurled into the trees. There is little doubt that this vicious and psychotic attack caused death to this poor, helpless animal. And alarmingly, we’re told the individual has another dog who he routinely beats!
We immediately alerted officials to the situation, and after much pestering, they acknowledged our complaint, but our requests for an update have gone unanswered. Please speak up to demand that the individual be charged under Trinidad and Tobago’s Summary Offenses Act, which explicitly prohibits the cruel beating, torture, and abuse of any animal, and that a swift investigation be conducted for any surviving animals on the property.
