Hot Croc Autumn Is Officially Upon Us

Published by PETA Staff.

Apple Bottom jeans might be out, but the boots with the (faux) fur are officially in. This month, on National Crocs Day, Crocs is releasing a 35-inch-tall leopard print Classic Unforgettable Leopard Knee High Crocs. And they couldn’t have picked a better person to show them off than T-Pain himself. If anyone can bring this over-the-top look to life (and cure a national swag deficiency while he’s at it), it’s him.

T-Pain has already teamed up with PETA to encourage fans to treat dogs with respect, so it’s only fitting that his latest fashion moment keeps kindness going.

Crocs has been vegan since 2021 (a kind move that followed years of appeals from PETA to its executives), making completely animal-free clogs and boots.

By ditching leather (i.e., animal skin), Crocs, which sells more than 100 million shoes each year, has spared countless cows and bulls from the gruesome leather industry. Cows and bulls are sensitive, thoughtful animals who form strong friendships, not shoe material!

So, are these bold boots your style—or are you sticking to your classics with a few plant-based Jibbitz charms? Either way, there’s never been a cooler (or kinder) time to rock your Crocs.
