PETA’s ‘Cow’ to Pass Out Free ‘Jerky’?

With interest in vegan eating at an all-time high and more than a half-million people celebrating January as “Veganuary,” PETA’s costumed “cow” will encourage even more people to go vegan in 2022 by giving away salty and delicious meat-free jerky from Primal Spirit Foodst award-winning indoor dog park Barx Parx on Friday.

When:    Friday, January 28, 4:30–6:30 p.m.

Where:    Outside Barx Parx, Regal Plaza, 8868 S. Eastern Ave., #115, Las Vegas

“If you’re still eating meaty jerky and other nonvegan food in 2022, you’re barking up the wrong tree,” says PETA Executive Vice President Tracy Reiman. “PETA is encouraging anyone who wouldn’t dream of eating their dog to think about other animals, who feel pain and fear every bit as much as the ones who share our homes, and go vegan.”

PETA—whose motto reads, in part, that “animals are not ours to eat”—opposes speciesism, a human-supremacist worldview.
