— Fur coats are about as popular as cold sores in Hollywood, so for peta2—the world’s largest youth animal rights organization—it’s open season on the few celebs who wrap themselves in dead animals. A penchant for pelts has landed Nicole Richie and Ashley Olsen at the top of peta2’s annual "Worst-Dressed" list:
1. Nicole Richie: Maybe Richie takes the term "party animal" a bit too literally. She rarely shows up to a bash without a dead animal (or 12) on her back.
2. Ashley Olsen: She clings to animal corpses even tighter than she clings to her twin sister. Unhealthy attachments, anyone?
3. Christina Ricci: Disregarding the holiday season’s "Peace on Earth" message, Ricci recently posed for the cover of a magazine wearing fur from a slaughtered reindeer. We know one person who definitely won’t be on Santa’s "nice" list this year.
4. Eva Longoria: You’d think she’d be more sympathetic to the plight of rabbits considering the way she screws around like one on Wisteria Lane.
Have your say—peta2 invites you to vote for who you think is the furriest hag of all at peta2.com.
Noticeably absent from this year’s list is 2005’s "Worst-Dressed" winner, Paris Hilton. The formerly furry heiress seems to have had a change of heart. She has been telling reporters that, like a growing number of compassionate people, she no longer wears fur after seeing how animals—including cats and dogs—are bludgeoned, strangled, and skinned alive on Chinese fur farms.
