There has been a recent resurgence of interest in jackfruit, and we can see why. It’s a truly miraculous fruit. It’s able to grow on both the branches and trunks of trees, and it can weigh up to 100 pounds.

The inside of a jackfruit is made up of thousands of flower petals that have fused together. They surround the seeds, which is the fruit itself. Both fresh and canned jackfruit are available. Happy experimenting!
