Are you a crazy cat lady? Take this quiz to find out …

4. You rely on the sound of purring, rather than a sound machine, to get a good night’s sleep.

6. You would cut off your own fingers before you would declaw your catIt’s pretty much the same thing.

7. Your Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram feeds are all filled with photos of your cat(s). And you don’t care if the cat-haters unfriend you!

Eleven inside and a stray/feral colony of almost 20 outside that I care for. It is not unusual for me to go to the grocery store and spend $100 or more and get maybe only a loaf of bread or a few cans of soup for me and my husband and the rest cat food and litter. My husband was a dog person until we got together and God bless him, he has converted to a cat-man and hasn’t divorced/committed me yet!

My 3 beautiful long haired himilayan “children” are the loves of my life! They bring me more joy than any human ever has. They make my life worthwhile.I raised all three from birth. My two girl kitties are 20 years old and my boy kittie is 19! My vet is amazed that they have lived to be so old. Most persians and and himilayans only live 15 years at the most. They have actually taken care of me thru thick and thin, thru husbands and boyfriends and sickness. I thank God for my three beautiful Kitties, they are my heart!

I have 43 indoor cats (I’m not a hoarder-I swear). My husband, Kip, and brother-in-law, Napoleon, play with them all day long. It makes my heart so happy to see the everlasting bond between my animal and human companions. I’m a huge supporter of PETA, forever and always.

  • Mimi Kervina-Thompson says:

My love of cats (and just a teeny bit less of dogs) is life-long and I am so happy that my daughter feels the same. They are, for me, just like kids who never grow up.

I love ALL animals but awww our cats,(and our dogs :) ) are our family’s babies :) They have sooo much love and fuss between me, hubby and our two older teenage boys – it really is the most soothing feeling in the world – for both the humans and animals in our household :)

  • Hollie says:

I prefer the term “Lady Who Is Aware of How Amazing Cats Are.” My boyfriend often teases me about how even in my sleep I will shift into all kinds of bizarre positions to avoid shifting a kitty out of place.

  • Alexander says:

    >^..^< How cute & how true! New Zealand has the highest ratio of “cat ownership” (a totally inaccurate description, as all cat-lovers know!) in the world! My husband & I happily share our lives with three cats, all with unique personalities & wouldn’t be without them!

  • sandra mason says:

I have 11 indoor cats and I love them with all my heart. they take precendence over EVERYTHING. but, I do not consider myself at all crazy.

  • Allison says:

I ended up with cats that nobody contacted me about adopting. I was the only one they knew as mamma, so I decided to keep them, and not return them to the shelter! I am crazy about my cats, but I ain’t crazy. I CARE about my cats, AND I take good CARE of them! No hoarding here, just trying to be responsible. I love them all, and they are all so different from each other, not one alike! Go cat ladies!

  • Carol A Murawsky says:

I have lived with cats for 60 years. I participated in cat rescue for many, many years and needless to say, have taken in numerous strays in the neighbourhood. What wonderful, delightful and faithful companions they are. It is so sad when they leave us.

Only a crazy cat lady would buy a king size bed so “Trixie” has room too..and my husband and I still end up on the edge of the bed ! I would lay down my life for my cat.

  • Tawny says:

I’m a proud cat lady. I was adopted by lovely felines and they have trained me well. :)

  • Medallion's Momma says:

Medallion’s breakfast is prepared before mine, his litter box cleaned before the bathroom, and his treats, dry food, and wet food, always stocked befroe my groceries are bought. Of course I wouldnt have it any other way, he was once living outsiade, and now makes a pretty good living inside a warm and loving home, where he knows he is loved.

  • Nicola says:

PETA, you forgot facial expressions. We crazy cat ladies know their facial expressions. I have five and my lodger has two and I love love love them all. Crazy cat lady, me. Defiant and proud! :D

  • Don Randall says:

Is there such a thing as a crazy cat man? I wasn’t at all surprised that I answered yes to so many of the questions, but I can only understand why that might make me a crazy cat person, not a crazy cat lady. :-)

  • Marda DeWet says:

I would be deeply offended ifi was not regarded as a crazy cat lady. My cat children would be horrified and start a petition! the world is full of ray catladies riding on their broomsticks to visit their friends and fur children especially at night!
