Imogen Bailey’s New Site

Written by PETA | December 7, 2007

Australian supermodel Imogen Bailey has helped us with numerous campaigns over the years, speaking out on issues as diverse as the fur industry, rodeos, and elephants in captivity. And she’s just launched a whole new website devoted to educating people about animal rights and giving animal-lovers a forum to discuss the issues. So I wanted to give it a quick shout out: You can check out Imogen Bailey’s ImForAnimals here. But before you go, have a look at this stunning ad she made to let people know about the cruelty behind rodeos. You’re a star, Imogen.

I have to say that I applaud peta for the stand they make however sometimes I wonder how people can differentiate between millions of cows being slaughtered for meat and a few hundred whales also killed for meat despite what the japanese say I eat meat and must say that this question still stumps me…

Since when is being respectful toward animals being compassionate and caring about their lives been ‘extreme’? To those of you who have one thought and it is about yourselves get a bloody life.

  • Kristina says:

Josey I wouldn’t necessarily say ‘hate’ I don’t particularly like PETA and their tactics but I’m still interested in being educated about them the people who support them etc. I feel the blog could be a good open discussion. Going to the extreme either way is a little off.

I do not understand why people who hate peta so terribly still frequent these blogs and peta’s website. Peta is obviously doing something right.

  • Dimotas says:

Dear “Site Owner” I didn’t realize the level of lunacy to which you petatypes have descended until I perused this silly blog of yours. I feel pretty certain that your censorship will guarantee that my comments won’t appear on planet peta.
