Einstein Bros. Bagels, Bruegger's, and Noah's New York Bagels are testing out Daiya vegan cream cheese in hundreds of locations across the U.S.! The move came after over 45,000 of you signed a petition on PETA's website and vegan actor Lisa Edelstein wrote to the then CEO of these chains' parent company on PETA's behalf. The vegan cream cheese is being offered on a trial basis. With your help, it can become a permanent addition to all locations.

Please support the move by ordering vegan cream cheese if your local store is testing it out, and continue to ask for it to be offered at all Einstein Bros., Bruegger's, and Noah's New York Bagels locations.

Demand for dairy-free foods is at an all-time high, and companies are responding. Starbucks—the world's largest coffee chain—offers almond, soy, and coconut milks at thousands of its locations and noted that "[m]ore than half (58 percent) of all U.S. adults consume non-dairy milk." At Peet's Coffee, you can get coconut whipped cream in addition to almond and soy milk as well as treats such as vegan chocolate chip cookies. And that's not all: Ben & Jerry's has entered the vegan ice cream game, over 40 pizza chains now offer vegan cheese, and according to Daiya, its animal-free "products are now being used by approximately 20,000 individual restaurant and chain franchise locations."

Let's show the country's largest bagel chains our excitement about their vegan cream cheese offerings and help them realize that the demand for dairy-free products is here to stay.

Please sign the petition asking Einstein Bros., Bruegger's, and Noah's New York Bagels to continue offering vegan cream cheese and expand this option to all locations.
