Norfolk, Va. -- PETA knows that a vegetarian diet looks good on anyone, but the group is in search of the two Sexiest Vegetarians Next Door--one male and one female. Anyone who might fill the bill is encouraged to go to PETA's Web site and enter to win the title.
"On average, vegetarians are slimmer and healthier than meat-eaters, and that makes them sexier too," says PETA Executive Vice President Tracy Reiman. "If the vegetarian vixens and virile vegans who enter our contest get your heart pounding, check out the rest of our Web site and find out how you can go vegan and maybe be next year's winner!"
During the first round of the contest--which ends at 12 noon on March 12--vegans and vegetarians are encouraged to enter the contest, and all PETA Web site visitors are welcome to vote for their favorite fetching contestants. In the second round--which runs from 12 noon on March 17 to 12 noon on March 31--PETA will announce the finalists from this hot crop of vegetarians. The winners will be announced on April 14, and the Sexiest Female Vegetarian Next Door and the Sexiest Male Vegetarian Next Door will each receive a trip for two to Hawaii, courtesy of the PETA Member Advantage Program.
