Pro-Vegan Bikinied Beauties Have a Message for Male Bears Fans With 'High Sticking' Problems: Be Sexy and Stop Eating Meat!

Hershey, Pa. — This morning, PETA sent a letter to the director of corporate sales for the Giant Center, home of the AHL's Hershey Bears, urging him to place PETA's sexy new pro-vegan, anti-impotence ads next to the urinals in the arena's men's rooms. Each ad features one of PETA's bikini-clad Lettuce Ladies—pointing her finger and expressing obvious disappointment—and reads, "Trouble With High Sticking? Eating Meat Can Cause Impotence. Go Vegan!" PETA's point? That besides causing animal suffering on a massive scale, fat- and cholesterol-laden meat and dairy products slow the flow of blood to all the body's organs, not just the heart.
"If male Bears fans want to make sure that their puck winds up inside the net, the first thing that they should do is end their addiction to artery-clogging meat, eggs, and dairy products," says PETA Executive Vice President Tracy Reiman. "The best way to help animals, protect the environment, and guarantee a victorious 'shootout' in the bedroom is to go vegan."
The typical American diet—which is heavy in meat and dairy products—has been closely linked to cardiovascular risk, and heart disease was significantly correlated with erectile dysfunction in the well-regarded Massachusetts Male Aging Study. Medical science suggests that heart disease—and therefore erectile dysfunction—can be prevented or even reversed by eating a healthy vegan diet. And according to the American Dietetic Association, vegetarians are also less prone to cancer, diabetes, and obesity than meat-eaters are—each of these diseases has also been linked to impotence.
In addition to the health and personal performance benefits of a vegan diet, every vegan saves more than 100 animals a year from the routine abuses on filthy factory farms and a terrifying slaughter.
