Memphis, Tenn. — AutoZone Park, home of the Memphis
Redbirds, has grabbed sixth place in PETA's annual ranking of
the Top 10 Vegetarian-Friendly Ballparks in minor league baseball. This
is the fourth time in the ranking's five-year history that Memphis has made the
list, and a visit to the park's concession stands reveals why this team made
the cut. Topping the impressive lineup of vegetarian options are the grilled
spicy black-bean burger, the baked potato bar, the veggie dog, the veggie
sausage, and a delicious fruit medley.
"Delicious vegan and vegetarian options are fast
becoming as American as baseball itself," says PETA Associate Director
Chris Holbein. "With so many great animal- and health-friendly vegetarian

Jake Shields, NBA legend John Salley, NFL running back Ricky Williams, and
