Sexy Feathered ‘Chicks’ to Dish Up Free Vegan Taco Bell Burritos

PETA Billboard Asks: Would It Kill You to Get a Bean Burrito

Wearing bikinis with strategically placed feathers and tall feathered headdresses, a pair of PETA’s sexy “chicks” will dish up free vegan Taco Bell burritos on Thursday. It’s all in honor of the new PETA billboard—featuring a chicken’s face next to the words “Want to Live Más? So Do I. Would It Kill You to Get a Bean Burrito?”—that just went up next to the Taco Bell on Gallatin Pike.

Where:           Taco Bell, 2904 Gallatin Pike, Nashville

When:             Thursday, June 30, 12 noon

“It’s easier than ever to find delicious, cruelty-free vegan food, including at fast-food staples like Taco Bell,” says PETA Executive Vice President Tracy Reiman. “PETA’s sexy ‘chicks’ are eager to prove that eating vegan is as simple as ordering a fresco-style bean burrito.”

Unlike meaty dishes, vegan meals are free of saturated animal fat and cholesterol. Going vegan also spares more than 100 animals every year daily suffering and a terrifying death in today’s industrialized meat, egg, and dairy industries.

PETA—whose motto reads, in part, that “animals are not ours to eat”—and its youth division, peta2, have even prepared a guide for eating vegan at Taco Bell, available here.
