New Pro-PETA's Sexy 'Fashion Police' Crack Down on Leather

Hot Ladies in Naughty Pleather Cop Costumes Will 'Bust' Anyone Wearing Clothing Stolen From Animals

For Immediate Release:
November 5, 2009

Kristina Addington at 757-622-7382

Louisville, Ky. -- Scantily clad in sexy uniforms, high-heeled boots, and police hats and holding signs that read, "Animal Skins Are a Fashion Felony," PETA's pair of sexy "fashion police" will be at the intersection of S. Fourth Street and W. Muhammad Ali Boulevard in Louisville on Friday. They will give leather-, fur-, and wool-wearers "citation tickets" for "violating the code of common decency."

When:   Friday, November 6, 12 noon

Where:  Intersection of S. Fourth Street and W. Muhammad Ali Boulevard

What's wrong with leather, fur, and wool? Animals killed to make clothing are mutilated, treated like unfeeling machines, and denied everything that is natural and important to them on factory farms and in slaughterhouses. Making clothing from animal skins or wool causes great suffering that can be avoided simply by choosing from the many fashionable alternatives.

"I'll gladly bare some of my skin if it will help save animals' skins," says sultry "cop" Kristina Addington. "With all the luxurious alternatives available, there's absolutely no excuse for wearing animal skins."
