I've been crafting and strewing DIY projects throughout my house since I was about 4 years old. Never one to focus in on any single material or process, I've made ceramic mosaics for gardens, purses out of old cigar boxes, jewelry from collages and microscope slides, plush monsters, cold process soap, and pants out of old curtains. My favorite materials are reclaimed materials. I work in the PETA Foundation's Production Department, proving that I'm the luckiest girl in the whole world as I get to fight for animal rights while being creative. My partner and I have two rescued cats, who are the apples of my eye and who enjoy sleeping on my lap while I knit. In addition to working on generally no fewer than eight projects at a time, I also make mean cupcakes, watch way too many zombie movies, and love sitting on the porch with my friends in the summer heat.
