Vegan Wedding Feast

As promised, here are some more magnificent food photos from Amy’s wedding. The company responsible for creating this overwhelmingly delicious food is Atlanta-based design and catering company A Legendary Event.

I am not ashamed to say that I had three plates of food (they were small!) in a valiant effort to sample everything.

The menu consisted largely of delicious grilled items, including avocados (who knew you could grill them?), tofu, chayote squash, plantains and more. Here is the official menu:

Centerpieces
Lime Marinated Fried Plantains
Modena Balsamic Grilled Portobello
Pan Seared Tofu with Smoked Sea Salt
Vegetable Etouffee

Vegetables
Grilled Chayote Squash
Sautéed Herb Oyster Mushrooms
Baby Green Bundles
Chili Glazed Avocado

Pairings
Organic Creole Polenta
Israeli Cous Cous with Mission Fig & Caramelized Pear
Exotic Beans

Sauces
Black Bean and Cilantro Coulis
Port Wine Reduction
Roasted Papedo Pepper Coulis

The images pretty much speak for themselves—enjoy!

Oooh, it looks amazing! It’s true, the US has a lot of vegan options other countries don’t. But you can be creative anywhere and set a good example! This food looks amazing and gorgeous, I love it.

Those of you living in the USA are so spoiled for choice in terms of vegan or vegetarian meals. Please spare a thought for those of us stuck in red neck country (Australia) where killing animals any animals especially their national emblem the kangaroo is a sport and the live trafficking of sheep and cattle to the Middle East for slaughter in horrific conditions is accepted by those who stand to make pots of money from the misery of the animals. AHHHHHHHHHHH

Looks GREAT! I got married about 2 months ago, and it was a vegan/vegetarian wedding (vegan for me, vegetarian for my husband). My non-veg family was worried no one would enjoy the food, or have enough to eat but everyone LOVED everything and we still get compliments on the food. I must admit though, these photos look more beautiful than our meals. How nice!

What an amazing feast! If the wedding went half as wonderfully as the photos, you must have had a great day! Congratulations!

We love vegan weddings at Angeliquevents in Los Angeles. We coordinated three this fall and another one to come on November 8. The amazing food from the Inn of the Seventh Ray and Diana Temple (creative fare) encourage me to go vegan. So far I’m vegetarian. Green is the best philosophy for life…
