    “Dried beans and dark green leafy vegetables are especially good sources of iron, even better on a per calorie basis than meat. Iron absorption is increased markedly by eating foods containing vitamin C along with foods containing iron. Vegetarians do not have a higher incidence of iron deficiency than do meat eaters.”

    And I can back this statement up. I’m a medical aesthetician and we have to train in nutrition & pharmacology.

    Also taking a multi-vitamin whether you’re eating meat or not, will help you in the long run with all your vitamin needs. ^^

    I made the Vegan King Cake today and it is reallyy good. My family including myself could not stop eating it. It’s really fluffy and had perfect texture mm, I want more now just thinking about it haha, thanks for the awesome vegan recipe. Hopefully we’ll still have some leftover for the actual day of Mardi Gras.

    @Wanda Di Lallo,as much as I share your enthusiasm,I hate to say that anemia is caused by lack of iron and your best source of iron is in meat sooo…I don’t think you were anemic from eating meat before,that’s scientifically imposssible!

    When I used to eat corpses I was anemic. Now I am vegan and I am not anemic. To be really healthy everybody must stop eating dead bodies.
