Obsessive Compulsive Cosmetics Opens Storefront in New York City

Written by Ashley Palmer | October 4, 2009

One of my favorite vegan companies, Obsessive Compulsive Cosmetics, recently opened its first storefront in New York City. My friend and coworker Chelsea had the privilege of going to the opening party and snapping some photos.

The shop, located in Manhattan Lower Eastside, features exposed brick walls and reclaimed wood. Not only is the atmosphere spot-on, the cosmetics are too! Whether you’re looking for deeply pigmented eye shades, bold nail lacquers, or lip color that lasts, Obsessive Compulsive Cosmetics has got you covered!

Never compromising quality or ethics, this cruelty-free company goes a step further by creating exclusively high-quality vegan products. It offers a wide range of colors that would please the most conservative and the most eccentric. The bold colors are perfect for creating one-of-a-kind looks and for the upcoming holidays.

So if you’re lucky enough to be in New York City this fall, be sure to stop by and pick up a few things. The store address and hours are:

Obsessive Compulsive Cosmetics
174 Ludlow St., Store South
New York, NY 10002

Monday through Saturday: 11 a.m.–7 p.m.
Sunday: 12 noon–6 p.m.
