Festive Holiday Nails

Written by Vanessa Cunningham | December 19, 2012

Snowmen, wreaths, lights, snowflakes, presents—the holiday season is upon us! This winter, wow your friends and family with white-hot holiday nails. There are endless combinations of wintery cruelty-free colors and festive designs.

Looking for something to do on a snowy day? Get creative and up your nail-art game! For maximum fun, invite your friends over and make it a party. All you need are some festive colors (cruelty-free of course!), a pencil, and a toothpick, pin, or nail.

You don’t have to be a pro—we sure aren’t! The key is to have fun, and it’s a great way to talk to your friends about why you choose cruelty-free polishes.

Step One: Buy festive, cruelty-free polishes.

Step Two: Create some DIY precision tools.

Pencil + pin (or nail) = polka-dotter

For smaller details, you can use the other end of the pin or nail—or try using a toothpick!

Don’t have a steady hand? Ask a friend to help!

Step 3: Get painting! Here are some ideas:
