In Silence of the Lambs, a serial killer murders because he wants a suit made of girls skin. Cows, goats, pigs, and lambs suffer the same chilling fate so that consumers can buy leather shoes, pants, coats, and gloves. Someone else carries out the torture, but the victims are just as helpless. Animal defenders are giving animals a voice, exposing the grisly truth about leather.

Exfoliate Express!
A cow joined PETA members
outside Express stores in Kansas City and Washington, D.C., to inform shoppers about hairless fur. Much of the leather sold in the U.S. comes from overseas, where cows and goats suffocate in overcrowded transport trucks and endure violent beatings. Cow skin imported from China and Korea can actually be dog leather.
