I further understand that great apes cannot be trained for commercials, films, or television productions without the use of force, fear, and intimidation. I am also aware that the living conditions for great apes who are no longer useful to the entertainment industry are almost always abysmal and unacceptable.
Given these indisputable facts, our organization pledges not to use live great apes for advertising, entertainment, or any other purpose.
